The body construction is the same as the regular Les Paul Studio. A Mahogany body with a solid carved maple top. The neck is carved from solid mahogany into a rounded 1959 style profile that will feel great in your hand. The neck is adorned with an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets. The baritone set-up is made possible by a 28" scale length; which is 3-3/4" longer than a standard LP. It comes strung with .13-.60 strings. The Gibson Les Paul Studio Baritone can be tuned either in a B to B set-up, or an extra low A to A tuning.
Pickups and controls are the same as on a regular Les Paul Studio guitar. Dual Gibson USA humbuckers deliver that classic les Paul punch. An Alnico magnet 490R in the neck position and a 498T in the bridge will deliver all the tone you can handle. The Gibson Les Paul Studio Baritone excels in many different settings.
