The addition of a maple top gives players the familiar tonewood combination that produces that classic Les Paul sound.
A quarter-sawn mahogany neck with a traditional 60s style slim tapered profile will feel great in your hands. The rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets, those familiar trapezoid inlays, and a new twist for 2012 to enhance playability: These Les Pauls now feature a compound radius, allowing for comfort, speed and precision at all points up and down the neck. Players who prefer to set their action low will love the ease of playability and luxurious string bending.
