Made in the shape of the Gibson Jumbo model of the 1930s with expanded body depths, its top is crafted from solid Adirondack red spruce—one of the most desirable tonewoods and paired with solid English walnut for the back and sides. The top also features a Scalloped Adirondack red spruce top bracing pattern to maximize this jumbo acoustic’s resonance and tonality.
The guitar's one-piece solid quarter-sawn mahogany neck is carved to a modified "V" profile, which will feel feel right at home in your fretting hand, along with a rosewood fingerboard. The 24-3/4" scale is pure Gibson all the way, and is extremely comfortable and easy to play. Furthermore, it is joined to the body with hot hide glue just like the great pre-War acoustics.
