Gibson Grabber G-3 '70s Tribute Bass Guitar with Gig Bag
The Gibson Grabber Bass has been famously used by legends like Gene Simmons, Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, and more recently Green Day’s Mike Dirnt. The Grabber Bass brings thunderous tones and easy playability to a package styled for today’s bassist, and a great choice for every variety of music.
Like its iconic companion the Ripper Bass, this Grabber G-3 features a double-cutaway shape that emanates pure retro vibe. This rock & roll icon features a contoured thin-cut maple body with a bolt-on maple neck. The neck scale measures 34” and is topped off with a Baked Maple fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets. The neck also features a Flying V-style headstock and is carved to a comfortable profile for maximum playability.
The power source of this bass is a trio of Gibson G3 single-coil pickups with large Alnico V magnets for enhanced punch and clarity. A 3-way switch allow for different combinations all in humbucking mode: 1. Neck & Middle, 2. Neck, Middle & Bridge, 3. Middle and Bridge pickups. Strings are anchored at the body end by a rock-solid three-point bridge with individually adjustable saddles, and Grover Shamrock tuners at the headstock, all plated in chrome. A Gibson Gig Bag is included.
