The Gibson ES-335 Satin Finish Left Handed Electric Guitar features a semi-hollow body with maple top, back, and ribs, retaining much of the exact specs of the 1958 classic. The semi-hollow design was a radical concept which employed a solid block of maple that ran down the middle of the body’s innards. This eliminated any unwanted feedback that would occur at high volumes when using hollow bodied guitars. The ES-335 naturally became the perfect choice for burgeoning rock & rollers of the day. This semi-acoustic wonder was a perfect blend of hollow body feel with many solid body tonal characteristics.
The neck is carved from mahogany and features the popular 1960 style slim profile. This fast-action neck is equipped with a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and dot inlays.
