Comments about Gibson Historic 1957 Les Paul Standard Reissue:
"There is a strong fundamental tone with a shimmer of harmonics overlaying each trable note, and a thick puch for each of the base notes. Harmonics available over every single fret, even beyond the fretboard and over the pickups. A lot of room to add your own attack or depth you require in getting just the right tone! This is the poorman's 50's Burst - no competition anywhere for playable musical tones or the modest price point. You will have to have it the first time you pick it up. 8-9lbs accross the board on all the models I tested. Gibsons best deal and most accurate to boot!"
