My drum teacher loaned me one of these (he has 2) since i was having trouble with my double bass skills, and i couldn't practice much because of the noise and neighbors.
i got a lot out of the practice, and got one, and now that im significantly better, i keep this pad under my desk, w/ my DW 7000 pedal, while i have my other pedal on my set so i can practice anytime im listening to music, doin homework, or writing music.
