Comments about Gemeinhardt 3SB Flute:

I have had this flute for 20 years, the same model and build as the one here. When I received the flute, it was my first french flute, and second flute overall. Other flautists in my band had Yamahas, but my flute had the absolute best sound. The tone is beautiful, and I absolutely find it to be money well spent. The flute today is finally getting its first adjustment after 20 years of ownership and use. I played this flute in concert band, as first chair, and also for county band, and then I continued on to college and played this flute for my senior recital as a music minor. I would highly recommend this flute to anyone.

This is my second flute, my teacher has the same one. She loves it and so do I. This flute has a solid silver body and silver plated keys which gives it a verey nice sound. Its great for solos and bands. This is a great step up flute for those who want a challenge with an open hole flute and want to continue being a flutist I will give this flute a 6 out of 5
