Ibanez GSRM20 Mikro Bass Guitar

Following the great success of the Mikro guitars, Ibanez has now brought Mikro basses into the fold, based on the Soundgear line. The shortened 28.6" scale is the perfect solution for smaller students, or anywhere that space is at a premium.

The body is made from Mahogany, with a Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium frets. Additional features include a set of STND "P" (neck) and "J" (bridge) style pickups, B10 bridge, die-cast tuners, and chrome hardware. Case not included.

I bought this bass to try out an Ibanez since I haven't before, and I can honestly say it is a great buy and i have found no problems with this. Its great for all occasions, and if you are thinking of buying this, you absolutely should.

I was looking for a short scale bass for recording sessions. This 28.6 inch scale Ibanez GSRM20 MIKRO is perfect for guitar players or if a 34 or 30 inch scale is too much of a stretch. The neck is very comfortable and fast. The P and J type pickups sound great, very deep and clean in normal use, but there is a small buzz when the Tone Control is all the way up, but not bad, I am sure we will sort that out.
The quality, fit and finish are beautiful. Plus it is lite weight and about the size of a Strat so it is easy to handle. I simply love this little bass with a big sound. Plus the price is unbeatable. My Sam Ash Music store in Hollywood set it up for me and I could not be happier. My thanks to Sam Ash Music and Ibanez.
