The GEB-7 is a seven-band equalizer created specifically for the frequency range of the electric bass. Since the frequency range extends down to 50Hz, the GEB-7 is also great for adjusting depth and bottom end of an upright bass with pickups.

I've been playing music for a long time now and have been on the active indie circuit for close to 19 years. I'm still in my 30s but carrying around a heavy rig isn't as easy anymore. This pretty much sums it up for me in a stomp box. It has deep rich tone for your lows, never drowns out your mids while keeping your highs bright and clear. The number/quality of tones you can get from the GEB7 is as vast as your imagination. It can add a dark, punchy, heavy tone to your sound even before adding distortion. It can bring out the slap n pop out of your bass just with a few tweaking. Hell it even gave life to my passive P Bass that I use it again for practice---and I hardly use that bass anymore. I use it for practice--and I never gig without it. I use it with my Fender J for live shows and its BAD[*]!And if you do plan to get this--get it at your friendly neighborhood SAM ASH! I use this Pedal for 10 years now and it still kicks!!!!!Is has been drop,toss and even soaked with beverages. You cant not just go wrong with a boss pedal..You can get almost any sound you want out of this pedal...I would definately buy an another one if it was lost..

I've owned this EQ pedal for awhile now and it never fails and can stand up to a more expensive pedal but simply put it's an amazing pedal for the cost so i would get it. The only flaw i seen is the battery compartment is a bit hard to find but i am an idiot so you may be able to find it faster then me (it's under the pedal)...
