The wide range of luscious tones available from the Fender Super Sonic Twin Guitar Combo Amp starts with the circuitry of the legendary Twin Reverb amp; delivering 100 watts of clean, sparkling, bright Fender tone that is derived from vintage Fender Twin Reverb and Showman amps, and fat, punchy tone reminiscent of 1960s Bassman® amps; and features a simple layout of volume, bass, mid and treble controls. The dual Celestion 12” speakers will deliver the tone the way you want to hear it. The Vintage channel also has a Normal/Fat button you can select from the front panel or using the included 4 button-footswitch. This tone control adds a mid/low-end punch to the clean sound, and also gives it a slight volume boost to really beef up your clean sound. The Burn channel features 2 separate gain controls and can deliver a wide range of warm overdriven tones. Gain 1 is more of a straight crunch type of distortion, while Gain 2 adds more compression and sustain to your overdrive. Although the Fender Super-Sonic Twin is capable of heavily saturated tube distortion and sustain, it never masks the tonal character of your guitar. Combined with Fender’s legendary spring reverb, the Super-Sonic Twin Guitar Combo Amp will be ready for all performance situations. A protective vinyl cover is included for when you’re ready to take it on the road. The Super-Sonic Twin combo also contains impressive extras like the Arena/Club switch, which provides 25W output (or, remove two of the power tubes for 50W/12W operation). The Damping control on the rear panel lets you select Normal, Loose, or Tight speaker response. And the all-new Fender Automatic Bias control (patent-pending) lets you easily set your output tubes to the recommended factory setting without a meter or tools. The bias can be set hotter or cooler if desired, and almost any mix of 6L6 power tubes will work.
