This Stratocaster features an alder body with the legendary ‘comfort contour’ design that was way ahead of its time. This Stratocaster offers a slight departure from the traditional 3 single-coil pickup schematic by adding a high output Fender Humbucker in the bridge position. You still get those clear, bell-like, bright Strat tones that were the driving force behind an endless list of guitar legends, but you also get the added option of a scorching bridge humbucker that will meet the demands of the modern hard rock players. A parchment colored pickguard adds an old school vibe to this modern day classic. The Standard Stratocaster HSS Floyd Rose Electric Guitar features a maple neck with a 70s-style headstock logo. The maple neck also sports a rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets on a slightly flatter 9.5” fingerboard radius. The flatter radius facilitates easier, cleaner string bending and faster action. A Floyd Rose-licensed locking tremolo adds tuning stability and will withstand even the most aggressive soloing.
