The Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS with Floyd Rose comes from Fender's factory in Ensenada, Baja California. This is a Strat with great Fender craftsmanship that is both affordable and feature-packed. And this guitar is beautiful! The world famous Floyd Rose double locking tremolo system includes both the original Floyd Rose locking tremolo and the original Floyd Rose locking nut to hold you guitar in tune while giving you the ultimate in sustain and control over intonation. The Floyd Rose is the tremolo system that is the choice of professionals. The Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS electronics provide the legendary Stratocaster sound with the added punch of the Fender humbucker. The pickups include two Standard Stratocaster Single Coil pickups at the neck and middle positions with a Standard Stratocaster Humbucker at the bridge. The five position switch activates the Humbucker in position 1, the middle pickup and the front coil of the Humbucker in position 2, the middle pickup in position 3, the middle and neck pickups in position 4, and the neck pickup alone in position 5. As with all modern Strats, the middle pickup is wired with reverse polarity so the HSS Stratocaster has noise cancelling in positions 1, 2, and 4. The modern C shaped maple neck features the large '70s style Fender headstock and logo and with 21 medium jumbo frets in a rosewood fingerboard for easy playing and string bending. The neck has a tinted satin urethane finish that lets you slide your hand along it quickly and easily. The tuners are Fender's standard cast sealed machines with permanent lubrication. The body is made of the traditional Stratocaster Alder with a nice choice of eyepopping tasty looking polyester finishes. The pickguard is 3 ply parchement plastic and has matching parchement control knobs. A great Fender gig bag completes the package.
