The Select Stratocaster HSS is equipped with two Fender® Select Single Coil Pickups that deliver the classic Stratocaster tones, while the Fender Select Humbucking bridge pickup delivers a beefier tone for scorching lead playing. A 5-Position Blade switch allows for infinite tonal possibilities. The neck is made from quarter-sawn maple with contoured neck-heel to allow easier access to upper frets. A 9.5"-14" compound radius rosewood fingerboard allows clean, effortless string bending anywhere along the neck, without the worry of your notes “fretting out” as you go into the upper registers. The fingerboard radius becomes more curved as you move closer to the nut, allowing for easier chord voicings. The nickel hardware includes a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Vintage Style Bent Steel Saddles. The body also features a contoured neck heel for easier upper-fret access.
