The select alder body is paired with a Flame Maple Top which immediately sets the Select Stratocaster apart from the rest of the pack. The Dark Cherry Burst finish accentuates the grain of the flame maple. You also get all the traditional Stratocaster contours and curves which have made the Strat such an iconic instrument. The Select Stratocaster is equipped with 3 Fender® Select Single Coil Pickups that deliver the classic Stratocaster tones. A 5-Position Blade switch allows for infinite tonal possibilities. The neck is made from quarter-sawn maple with contoured neck-heel to allow easier access to upper frets. A 9.5"-14" compound radius fingerboard allows clean, effortless string bending anywhere along the neck, without the worry of your notes “fretting out” as you go into the upper registers. The fingerboard radius becomes more curved as you move closer to the nut, allowing for easier chord voicings. The nickel hardware includes a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Vintage Style Bent Steel Saddles. The body also features a contoured neck heel for easier upper-fret access.
