The empress body is paired with a Koa Top which immediately sets the Select Telecaster apart from the rest of the pack. The vintage looking Sienna Edge Burst gloss-lacquer finish accentuates the grain of the Koa. You also get the traditional appointments that made the Telecaster such an iconic instrument. The Select Telecaster is equipped with a pair of Fender® Select Single Coil Pickups and a 3-Position Blade switch that deliver the classic Telecaster tones. The neck is made from flame maple and features a 22 fret, 9.5"-14" compound radius rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard radius becomes more curved as you move closer to the nut, allowing for easier chord voicings and allows clean, effortless string bending anywhere along the neck, without the worry of your notes “fretting out” as you go into the upper registers . White pearloid position inlays add a wonderful aesthetic touch to this Tele. The chrome hardware includes Deluxe staggered cast/sealed locking tuning machines and an American Telecaster bridge with New American Standard bent steel saddles and stamped brass plate.
