TThe Fender Pawn Shop Mustang Special was designed to look as if it were a one-off proto-type of the legendary Mustang guitar, introduced in 1964. The Pawn Shop Mustang Special has an alder Mustang shaped body, but slightly altered with an offset waist reminiscent of other iconic Fender guitars. The electronics layout boasts dual Fender Enforcer humbucking pickups. The Enforcer is Fender's highest output humbucker and will deliver all the power you need with tone to spare. Capped off with ’70s-style chrome covers and unique switching three-way coil selector slide switch for each humbucking pickup, enabling 15 different tonal options. The Pawn Shop Mustang Special features a ’60s “C”-shaped 24” short-scale maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and modern 9.5” radius and medium jumbo frets, making for a fast, comfortable and easy playing experience. The chrome hardware includes a ’70s-style hard-tail Stratocaster bridge, vintage-style tuners and strap buttons. A Fender deluxe gig bag is included.
