Fender Passport 500 PRO Portable PA Audio System
The top-of-the-line Passport 500 Pro is a complete 500-watt PA system housed in a clever carryall design that is easily luggable and a cinch to set up and get going. The newly designed speakers boast a 10” woofer and a 1.2” horn-loaded tweeter. They deliver crystal clear, full range sound and can handle high SPL without breaking up and distorting. The 500-watt, class D power amp is perfectly matched to the speakers and built-in to the mixer. The 8-channel mixer has 6 XLR microphone inputs, 6- ¼” line inputs as well as 2 stereo ¼” inputs. There’s a stereo 1/8” line out as well as a subwoofer output to add your own active subwoofer. It also has a handy USB port that lets you record your performance with CD quality (.wav) straight to a USB flash drive, along with mp3 file playback. Engage the built-in selectable reverb for vocal and guitar sweetening. The built-in effects loop allows you to add your own outboard effects. The Fender Passport 500 PRO boasts some big improvements over the previous Passport 500, which the new 500 Pro replaces. 500 watts of power, the sub-out jack for an external powered sub-woofer, lighter weight (a full 9 lbs. lighter than the previous Passport 500 system), smaller physical dimensions, phantom power and a redesigned speaker system with a 10” woofer and improved clarity. There is also a docking connector, located in the Passport’s built-in storage compartment for hooking up an optional Passport wireless receiver. This allows you to use a wireless microphone with your system. Included are 2 speaker cables and a detachable power cord so the Passport 500 Pro is ready to rock, right out of the box! Fender Musical Instruments Corporation warrants that the Fender product you have purchased shall be free of any defects in parts and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase or initial lease, except that footswitches, covers, speakers, rechargeable batteries, cabinets, handles and cabinet hardware are warranted for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase or initial lease and light bulbs, vacuum tubes, meters, cables and all other included accessory products are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase or initial lease. This warranty shall run to the original purchaser or lessee when purchased or leased from an Authorized Fender Dealer and any transferee of a retail purchaser.
