The Blackout Tele features edgy black and chrome aesthetics, three vintage style pickups, and 5-way switching. It also has an alder body, 1-piece maple neck with "C" shape, maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, and a 3-ply pickguard. Hardware includes Fender/Ping cast/sealed tuners and a standard Tele 6-saddle strings thru body bridge. Exclusive Polyester finish. Includes gig bag.

I have always enjoyed the Telecaster and the Stratocaster each for their own voice and merits. But this Blackout Tele is special from the tones to the appearance ... very solid and I particularly like... the neck feel of this guitar (and the aged tint of the maple)

After many months of ownership: I enjoy this Tele more the longer I have it. If you like both the Strat and Tele and can't decide, I highly recommend you try this one out. I cut my teeth on a Strat and thought that is what I wanted but I also like Tele's. When I found this one, I found a Tele that can definitely go into "Strat Territory". Sure it is not a Strat, but I have to say that it may be the next best thing to having one of each. Consider adding the very inexpensive push-pull tone control mod that allows you to invoke the neck pickup on demand (for that classic Tele bridge/neck combo tone) and then you will have one very versatile and enjoyable Fender guitar

I have played a Tele for years mine got stolen, after a few years of it's face on a milk carton I went to get this one after reading mixed reviews here and there. The one I was inspecting and playing must have been a Monday morning built guitar. The only thing that resembled a Telecaster was the shape and balance. Fret buzz was the order of the day. thinking it was me A tech heard it and gave me a look it was the Fender. He even said it needed a set up. Sorry for an [$] guitar it should not need one. I'll go with an other brand thank you.

i use this guitar in my band back home. it sounds great live and in studio. of course being it a telecaster it gives you that nice twang on a clean setting and a clear heavy tone on distortion. it has alot of versitility i play from acoustic type stuff to hard rock with this guitar. basically it sounds great no matter what and it is very reliable.

This is a super Tele. I didn't think the middle pickup would get use much. Its an Alnico 2 like the neck pickup. Boy was i wrong on all acounts...that thing has tone in spaids. These pick-ups are NOT your normal Made in Mexico stuff. They are WONDERFUL if you are going for a vintage type tele tone. I prefer them to the Fender American 52RI pickups but they are very similar.
And that middle position just sings. Like a neck with plenty of trebble and good balance.
Looks cool too.
The neck is really nice - its tinted and just has the right feel for me at least. I'm comparing this to both American Standards, American RI, and MIM Tele's.
Get it before its gone.

Well I was looking at a Standard MIM Tele when I came across this and let me tell you for a week I've thought about this Guitar & how I'm gonna get it. I tried it for an hour or so and I was so surprised by the tone and it made so much sense to me. Even the Middle chrome pickup sounds darker to me than any other I have tried. I like a darker, not so bright tone and this guitar had it in spades. Don't let my explanation fool you go check it out yourself, you'll see what I mean. It still has spank to it just different in a good way.I love this guitar...it sounds great in any position and never ear piercing!Been playing 40 + years Play Blues, Jazz, Pop, Gospel Etc.
