Fender’s CD-230SCE dreadnought cutaway is crafted with premium tonewoods and features for full, resonant sound, superior performance and luxuriously smooth feel. Its solid cedar top offers the kind of extended midrange that flatpickers prize, and its mahogany back and sides offer great balance and dynamics. Other features include scalloped X bracing, new tortoiseshell pickguard and abalone rosette design, body binding and back center stripe mosaic inlay, mahogany neck with dual-action truss rod, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with smaller dot inlays (3 mm), new rosewood bridge design with compensated bone saddle, aged black bridge pins with abalone dots, gold hardware, mother-of-pearl Fender logo headstock inlay, and Fishman® Presys™ pickup system with active onboard preamp, tuner, volume and tone controls and low-battery indicator light.
