Fender has added a supercharged electronics schematic that will be a force to be reckoned with. The traditional triple single coil pickup configuration has been replaced with a pair of high-output humbuckers, giving this legendary icon a whole new voice. As an added bonus, a single coil Telecaster pickup has been added in the middle position for additional tonal possibilities. This Blacktop Stratocaster will deliver the massive tone that you seek, and you will love the flexibility of the dual HSH layout with a 5-position pickup blade selector. Controls included a single master volume, and 2 tone controls for the neck and bridge pickups. These are quite possibly the most powerful Strats Fender has ever offered. The Blacktop Stratocaster HSH retains some of the traditional appointments including an alder body, maple neck with modern C shape and gloss urethane finish, rosewood fretboard with 9.5” radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, three-ply black-white-black pickguard, and chrome hardware which includes sealed die-cast tuners and a Fender vintage style tremolo bridge.
