The Blacktop Jazzmaster features a pair of Duncan Designed pickups, starting with a traditional Jazzmaster single-coil neck pickup and hot humbucking bridge pickup. These player-approved mods give the Blacktop Jazzmaster a hot-rodded feel right out of the box. The controls have been simplified to a 3-way pickup selector with one master volume and master tone control. Simply plug in and you are ready to go! Retaining tradition, the Blacktop Jazzmaster HS has an American Vintage Jazzmaster tremolo with an Adjusto-Matic bridge and Tremolo Lock button. Other features include an alder body, maple neck with a slightly flatter 9.5”-radius rosewood fingerboard, with 21 medium jumbo frets promote easier string bending.
