All of which makes the American Deluxe Stratocaster easier, more comfortable—and more flat-out fun—to play. But the most earthshaking upgrade is probably the new N3 noiseless pickups. With three different types of alnico magnets (II, III and V) in a better stacked-coil noise cancelling design, the new Fender N3s have been fine-tuned for truly unmistakable vintage tone without unwanted noise. Which means you get all the power, warmth, sweetness, sparkle and fullness you want from a Strat, supercharged, but none of that old-style hum. In a word, perfection. We’re not done. The new American Deluxe Stratocaster also features a reconfigured S-1 switching system, giving you even more tonal possibilities. Not only can you put together every possible pickup combination, including all three at once, the new S-1 system even lets you choose between in phase and out of phase, in series or in parallel. So you’ve got every Strat you’ve ever heard at your fingertips—plus a few you’ve never heard! For the rest—like the staggered locking tuners, two-point synchronized American Deluxe tremolo bridge with pop-in arm, and beveled neck heel—you’re just going to have to see the American Deluxe Strat for yourself.
