The Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster Left Handed is truly the best of the Strats. Sam Ash himself was a lefty and there are plenty of lefties in the Ash family, so we are very pleased to offer you other lefties a guitar you can love. The American Deluxe Stratocaster features three new Fender N-3 noiseless pickups. These are stacked dual coil pickups that use three different allloys of Aluminum Nickle and Cobalt (Alnico 2, 3, and 5) to achieve the harmonics and power of a vintage Strat without the interference of 60 cycle hum. The N-3 pickups also enabled Fender to include its most sophisticated tone circuitry in the American Deluxe Strat. In addition to the traditional 5 position selector switch, the American Deluxe Strat has the improved S-1 switch (in the crown of the volume control knob) that gives you a vast array of tonal settings including in-phase and out of phase settings for unlimted Strat sound possibilities. Also, it includes a passing lane switch to allow your pickups to bypass the tone control circuitry completely and blast your sound right to the amp. Better intonation is another feature of the American Deluxe Strat. Staggered locking tuners and a two point synchronized American Deluxe tremolo assure that your guitar will stay in tune no matter how much you lean on the whammy bar. The American Deluxe left handed Stratocaster also give you the great compound radius fretboard, which gradually increases the curve from nut to bridge for effortless string bending and a lower action without the buzz. This makes the American Deluxe a joy to play and very easy on the fingertips. The body is alder with a choice of beautiful urethane finishes that let you see the beauty of the wood while enhancing the quality of the sound. The neck is maple with your choice of rosewood or maple fretboard with a satin urethane finish that lets your hand slide easily along the fretboard.
