I am impressed, this is now my main straight mute. I bought a Bach elite at the same time but the Faxx is the mute I use all the time now. It is in tune, free blowing and can project when you want it. It speaks clearly from low F# all the way up to double G. Everyone I have let try it from studio players to amatuers love it. Simply the best mute for big band I have tried.
