The Model 100 violin is made in F.R. Pfretszchner's affliate shop in Prague. This fully carved and graduated violin is ideal for an intermediate player looking to upgrade to their first Czech made violin. A graduated spruce top and eropean Carpathian Maple back means that careful consideration goes into these violins to find the right combation of thickness and weight, resulting in a full even tone across all four strings. The Pfretszchner 100 is finished in a beautiful spirit varnish that brings to life the grain and flaming in it's select woods.
Ebony fittings and four Wittner fine tuners ensure smooth and easy tuning while continuing this violins already resonant sound. Not to leave anything out the Model 100 is set up using Tomastik Dominant strings. Outfitted in a light weight oblong case and matching brazilwood bow, this violin provides everything needed to advance your playing right out of the box.
