I have these strings on my Gibson Les Paul Studio Deluxe. The sound great and I have no complaints at all. They aren't quite as slick feeling as the coated Gibson strings that come from the factory but this isn't a big deal.

I have some Ernie Ball Titanium strings to try out to see how they feel but wouldn't hesitate to buy these again.

Well for X-Mas i got Fender Telecaster from my uncle and he gave me a pack of Peavey strings. I also got a pack of these Ernie Ball sets too. Well i put my Peaveys and had them for about 6 months!!! Finally one popped so i put the Ernie Balls on. They were only on for about 2 days and already had wear on them. Personally i wouldn't really recommend these unless you don't have alot of cash. Im not sure how much the Peaveys run for but those are amazing and Daddarios or what ever theyre called are good too and today i got some Fender Super Bullets from Sam Ash and i cant wait to put them on when the Ernie Balls break. Well sorry bout talking about other strings but those are what I like and i dont really think these Erny Balls are to realiable unless you can spend a few extra bucks. Boomers are good to for 6 bucks

I've been on more national tours than I care to mention. I have always used this same set of strings since I could remember. You normally get what you pay for but with these, you get way more than you bargain for. Reliability and durability are a must for me, anyone who has seen me live knows how abusive I am live to my guitars and strings. I can only use the best and I do, These exact strings.

i just got a set today. i normally use dean markley, but the guy recomended me these ernie balls. and i'm glad he did. i was very happy with the sound and feel. they are really great strings.

One of my main guitars is a Carvin DC127. The C22 pickups can be a bit thin and bright and I never was really happy with their sound. The first time i tried a set of regular slinky's, I was literally blown away.
These strings give my Carvin the body and tone it was missing and have made it into one of my favorites.
They work equally well for rhythm and lead. Smooth, balanced chords, distinct lead that will cut through any mix without overpowering. (unless you want to)
The guitar always played nice and the slinky's take full use of that playability. You can bend them to the moon and they stay in tune. They hold up to a lot of abuse and last as long as can be expected from any set of professional strings.
I've been using these for about 7 years now and the quality has been consistent throughout that time. That's hundreds of sets of strings.

To the "pro" who bashed these as toneless and easily breakable, I suggest you have a shop check your bridge and nut. You may have a sharp edge.
Or perhaps you work for the competition??
