This item is a Factory Second. Generally, Epiphone #2 product has been down-graded from a #1 due to a cosmetic flaw that in no way impacts the playability of the instrument. They are stamped on the back of the headstock as a “second”. This inventory is purchased as is and cannot be returned because of the cosmetic flaw but all normal warranty issues are covered.
The Les Paul Standard Plus has the kind of sustain you'll want for those sweet solos. This set neck scorcher comes with an Alnico Classic and an Alnico Hot pickup. The "Classic is voiced like a 50s humbucker and the "Hot" cranks up the mids and highs. Epiphone took a slick mahogany neck and matched it to a great feeling rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Cream binding on the body and neck along with vintage style tuners adds that touch of class to a timeless instrument. Case not included
