Dwight Yoakam has collaborated with Epiphone to bring you a new twist on the Casino model, the Limited Edition Elitist Dwight Yoakam “Dwight Trash” Casino Outfit. This Casino features the many of the same classic specs as it first appeared 50 years ago; with a fully hollow body with a 5-ply maple top paired with a maple back and sides. Epiphone has made this “Dwight Trash” available in 2 special finishes: Roulette Red (with chrome hardware)and Jackpot White (with gold hardware). A slim taper profile mahogany neck adorned with a rosewood fingerboard and parallelogram inlays only add to the vintage vibe of this beauty. Other accoutrements include "Snake Eyes" dice inlay on 12th fret and the pickguard. The headstock of the “Dwight Trash” is a radical departure from traditional Casinos. For this model, Epiphone employed a beveled, “Reverse” Firebird style headstock; giving the “Dwight Trash” a strikingly original look. The reverse headstock also creates a playability advantage by increasing tension on the treble strings while decreasing tension slightly on the bass side. The truss-rod cover is 2-ply black/white in the traditional Firebird shape with "Epiphone Dwight Trash" in silver silkscreen. The signature tone is generated by a pair of Gibson USA P-90 Dogear pickups that offer a stellar combination of high output and biting treble response. The tone and volume controls are classic vintage style with gold metal inserts with pointers and the 3-way SwitchcraftTM toggle is set up for rhythm, lead, and both pickups. Case not included.
