Epiphone has introduced a new variation on an iconic guitar with the ES-339. While retaining the classic look of its predecessor, the ES-335, Epiphone has scaled down the size of the body to that of any of their solidbody guitars. Those who felt that the ES-335 was not for them because of its large body will definitely re-evaluate once they give the ES-339 a go. You get all the comfort of the small body while retaining all the beautiful tonal qualities of a semi-hollow guitar! Epiphone has created a limited run of this future classic with a unique Black Pearl metallic finish with silver sparkle binding and chrome hardware.
The ES-339 features a semi-hollow laminated maple body and employs a pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humuckers with a 3-way Pickup Selector. The 24.75” scale Mahogany set neck has a 1960's SlimTaper “D” profile, a rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, a 12” radius, and a 1-11/16” nut. The Ultra-339’s chrome nickel hardware is rounded out by a LockTone Tune-o-Matic/Stop Bar bridge/tailpiece combo for tuning and intonation stability. Machine heads are nickel Grover Kidney 14:1 Ratio tuners. Case not included.
