The EB-3 Bass brings easy playability to a package styled for the 21st century, and suitable for every variety of music.
True to the original Gibson specs, the EB-3 Bass has a body crafted from solid mahogany into an SG body style that is as instantly recognizable and gives off a vintage vibe. The special run EB-3 features an elegant ebony finish with a white pickguard. The 34" scale glued-in neck is carved from mahogany for superior resonance, and features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. The neck is carved to a comfortable profile and players will love the ease and comfort of the classic double cutaway, thin body design.
The power source of this bass is a pair of humbucker pickups. The enlarged Sidewinder humbucking neck pickup delivers enhanced punch and clarity, while the smaller Mini humbucker bridge pickup yields a snappy, dynamic response with no shortage of clarity. Individual volume controls and a master tone control allow you to blend pickups as desired for a wide range of tones. Strings are anchored at the body end by a rock-solid three-point chrome bridge.
