It has the same set neck construction as any of the classic Gibson Les Pauls, so that the neck and body act as a single piece of wood. Great guitar, my first electric after learning on acoustic for six months. Was originally gonna buy Epiphone Les Paul 100 but made a trip to store and got deal that was way to good to pass up. great guitar with really good pickups, isn't too good for playing a rock concert, because of the weight, and for the price its just great, but at first something might not work, it will work about minutes later, when you get the hang of it

it is an all around awsome guitar and affordable you can get this guitar and get the feel of a gibson i am soon upgrading to a gibson les paul but i will still play this guitar it is my first real electric and i love it.

The perfect guitar that's great to use for any purpose for any genre. Great sound quality and fun to play. Only con is that it's a little too heavy to lift up and spin around with like you would see Jeff Beck or Eric Clapton doing.

This guitar is absolutely flawless. It is a pleasure to just hold and gaze at. I have a Fender Frontman 25R amp and when I plug this guitar in the tones are phenominal. There is nothing like playing a real Les Paul and not an imitation.

I've had this guitar for almost a year, and I still love it and play it everyday. It's got that Les Paul feel that is so comfortable while playing. The tone is amazing and I use it for everything from blues to death metal. I got in the Cherry Sunburst and it's impossible to find a guitar that sounds and looks this good with a major name for this price. This guitar has been with me to numerous jam sessions, small gigs, and is my best friend in the studio. The only problems that I have with it are that the sound cuts out sometime on the higher strings. The neck pickup seems a little lose and the original nut on the female part of the jack was ridiculously big, but a simple trip to Samash changed that the guitar repair guy found one that fit and gave it to me free of charge. I've thought about putting new pickups on it but so far I haven't needed to.

This is an amazing guitar. I got it for Christmas and I was amazed by it as soon as I picked it up. The pickups aren't pro, but will suffice for a non-pro player. The intonation was barely off, no fret-buzz, and tuning was just flat; so Epiphone set it up great.
If you are looking for a Les Paul that doesn't empty your wallet, but is total quality, this is it.

I found any les paul style guitar has a almost overdone beefy feel about it compared to other style guitars but when you get settled in with it and start to open up it's wide range of tones it's able to produce I find my playing and pratice time not only more enjoying but also longer sessions because Im always finding new sounds.
