The EV ELX115P is a 15” powered PA cabinet is designed to deliver powerful, tight, full-range sound in a ruggedly built, lightweight cabinet. Powered by a built-in 1000-watt class D amplifier perfectly matched to the speaker, the EV ELX112P can be used for either sound reinforcement or on-stage monitoring.
Under the hood:
Beneath the 15mm plywood enclosure is a 15” woofer and 1.5” titanium diaphragm compression driver (tweeter). The bi-amplified design has a 24dB/Octave filter slope and transducer protection so a sudden overload shouldn’t cause any permanent damage in the heat of performance.
Connections and Switches:
Flexible connectivity makes the EV ELX115P a dream to set up and turn loose on your audience. 2 separate inputs each with their own separate level control grace the rear input panel. Both channels sport an XLR/TRS combo jack and input 1 offers the addition of RCA L/R inputs. There’s a switchable line/mic mode on input 2 so you can set the proper impedance for the right application. The master volume control sits atop a switchable Normal/Boost control making the ELX115P useful for various environments. A selectable 100 Hz high pass filter can be switched for use with an external subwoofer and an XLR link output enables connection to another ELX115P.
