The Expedition Express is a great solution for performers on the move. Bands, mobile DJ’s, schools, houses of worship, corporate AV and institutional applications – anywhere portable, high quality sound is required, the EXL250 can make life easier. The system is comprised of a pair of rugged, acoustically balanced two-way loudspeakers, a 4-channel mixer with 24-bit DSP, an iPod dock, a powerful 250 Watt ampli?er and all the accessories you need. The system also interlocks and packs up into a single rolling unit so it’s easy to transport.
The EXL250 combines a powered speaker with built-in amplifcation and controls, and a lightweight second speaker or “slave”. When set up for performance, the two cabinets are connected by a single cable. When they are packed for the road, the lightweight passive speaker cabinet locks into the top of the amplifed speaker cabinet with a unique auto-locate mechanism. Each loudspeaker is housed in a durable, lightweight molded resin cabinet with extensive internal bracing for rigidity and low resonance at maximum volume.
The EXL250’s integrated Class D amplifier is perfectly matched to the drivers for surprisingly high effciency and low current draw. Onboard 24-bit digital signal processing (DSP) adds dramatic pro-quality effects, and its ten preset effects make getting great sound fast and easy.
