i've had this guitar for about two years and i'll never get rid of it. its great for playing fast and furious rythim riffs. very easy to palm mute and sounds good in any tuning. it does come out tune if you really hammer on it, but other than needing the strings locked no major problems. i hardly ever clean it and the finish is still pretty nice.

very nice guitar the pick ups are just amazing its very easy to get harmonics on this guitar and for the price range on [$] this is probably the best u can get BUY THIS GUITAR

This guitar is awesome. I own 2 of them ! If you want a guitar right out of the box that you won't have to tweak, this is it ! I think I like them better than my Les Paul ! Yes,it's very well know that the strap lock is in the wrong place and it's neck heavy. You can find pics on the ESP forumes for where to put that strap lock if it bugs you too much. This guitar was excellent when I got it two years ago. But unfortunetly I am having problems with the Tuners. I will play for about 5 minutes and it is all whack. I would recommend this to a friend as a Mess around guitar.

I absoulutely love this guitar! I got it about 5 months ago and I think that it is the best guitar I own. It has a wider veriety of tones and it's pickup system is second to none. It is great for punk,rock,alternative,and metal.(<- wide variety of tone)

This Guitar is great for metal and hard rock the emg's scream the necks heavy but you get used to it stays in tune great for drop tunes black finish rules it looks great just clean it cause the finger prints show if u dont and wear your belt buckle at the side

"I've had this guitar for at least 6 months, and honestly, for the money and the package, you certainly can't get much better if your asking for a great sounding guitar. Its sounds is amazing, plugged into any amp, or just played acoustically. As the other review said, Drop tunings are a cinch with this. I've gone all across the Drops (Drop D, Drop Db, Drop C, Drop B, etc.), and this guitar has sounded great everytime, and the strings won't lose their notes while tuning. Very precise and dead-on. Its alot lighter than the Gibson SG, although I thought it is headstock heavy. But, just get used to it, or prop up your headstock a bit while standing, and your good to go. Durable and efficient. For the guitarist, aspiring or pro, this guitar is well worth the money. The See-Through-Black-Cherry is my model, and the finish is amazing (very Vermillionish). The sound is beauty to the ears, and you'll never want to put it down. I give it all kudos to guitars I can give."

"I have had this guitar since November of last year, and I have to say, it is just AMAZING. The grover tuners work VERY well to keep it in tune. Action is perfect. Tonepros bridge makes it very easy to mute. EMG 81 in the bridge is the best pickup there is for playing any kind of rock, wheather it's classic rock or metal. The 85 in the neck gives great harmonics and is perfect for clean tones. I put Elixirs in about a month and a half ago, and they are lasting a LONG time. Only had to replace one so far, but that was my fault. This guitar is also very good for those of you who like drop D tunings. Very fast tuning between standard and drop D. Very good intonation. I havnt had to retune the guitar once since I replaced the strings, other than some VERY small fine tuning which wasnt even noticable at all when you listen to it. And I am VERY picky about tuning. So basically, good guitar for any type of playing, especially for the money, stays in tune very well."
