This is truly unique and special product. It finds its niche among industry leader in tone as a pedal that's as creative as the player. The tone is articulate and shimmery. The 2-band EQ gives you adequate control of the sound. The level and drive click into position, allowing you to dial in the smallest, most precise increments according to your tastes. The Crunch switch gives you a steady vintage overdrive sound, while the saturated setting adds a big, airy full distortion with incredible sustain. I use the saturated setting on a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and keep the amp's overdrive channel for the light tube crunch. If you're looking for a muddy fuzz or thrashy feedback, this won't get you there. But for everything else, from fusion to progressive rock, this is an outstanding purchase.

This pedal is built extremely tough. It has great noise bypass. However, this pedal doesnt have a good heavy sound. I bought this thinking it would be very versatile between metal and good crunchy rock. I am probably going to trade this in for the TL-2 metal distortion.

All Digitech mutiprocessors--RP and GNX units-- the Whammy, and the JamMan, have a one year warranty from the manufacturer. All X-Series pedals and analog distortions(Bad Monkey, etc.)have a one year warranty, but if the new owner registers online at digitech.com, the warranty goes to 5 years on the X-Series and analog distortions only.
