The DN1800FX dual CD player is the perfect choice for the professional DJ. You get digital outputs for direct digital dubbing to a digital recorder such as MD, DAT,CD-R or for direct digital connection to an outboard digital processor or mixing console. Playback mode is selectable (Single or Continuous). SHOCKPROOF memory is included to prevent momentary audio dropouts caused by bumps or vibrations from the floor. The SLEEP FUNCTION prevents the Cd mechanism from overuse, this function automatically shuts down the drive after 30 min. of inactivity. CUE -up status can be reactivated by simply pressing the CUE/STOP button. The AUTO DISC HOLDER CLOSE SYSTEM closes automatically if it is left open for more than 30 seconds. When you use the JOG PLAT function playback speeds up when the Jog wheel is turned clockwise and slows down when turned counter clockwise. The original playback speed returns when you stop turning the wheel. The maximum range of change is +40% to -50%. 10 segment track time display shows at a glance the current playback position within the playing track and pitch range is +/- 10% (0.1% step). The CONT/SINGLE/RELAY button switches among continuous, single and relay playback modes. Relay playback mode can be set independently for each drive and when both drives are in relay playback mode tracks can be played continuously going back and forth between the two drives.
