The quick-loading CD slot supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and CD-ROM. It handles both CD-TEXT and MP3 ID3 tags, easily readable on the built-in display. Plug in your USB stick, iPod, or USB hardrive to access all your saved media. With dedicated controls for Instant Start, Auto Looping, Hot Starts, Effects, as well as 8 different ways to File Search, you’ll be hard-pressed to find any control you desire missing from this well thought-out design.
As a MIDI controller and interface, the Denon DN-S3700 has the ability to interact with a variety of popular Audio/Video DJ software, whether mapped by the manufacturer or custom mapping by yourself. This makes the Denon DN-S3700 indispensible as an all-in-one DJ tool.
5 built-in effects open up your creative palette and are easily applied. Flanger, Filter (High-Mid-Low), Echo, and Denon’s exclusive Echo Loop are all bpm synched. A wet/dry knob lets you precisely blend just the right amount of effect. Nifty! You can create 3 independent seamless loops and escape anyone of them anytime.
The FL tube display gives you a clear animated readout of all functions including Looping, Hot Starts, BPM info, Elapsed/Remain Time, MP3/WAV file types, and the all-important waveform display. The “Waveform” function is a representation of the audio signal pattern, which indicates various energy peaks within the music file. Additionally, a “Break-point” area can be pre-determined and viewed on the Denon S3700 display. Both the waveform and breakpoint data can be set when using external USB devices by using the included Denon DJ Music Manager PC application. You can build a database, edit and delete files from various drives, create, edit and import playlists (.xml / .m3u) and edit ID3 Tag information (.mp3 / .wav).
Create Auto BPM calculation, waveform data and break points, which are saved directly to the file and viewed on the DN-S3700’s display. The built-In Audio Player allows you to preview Database files from any location as well as print playlists for clients. The Denon DJ Music Manager application is included on the installation CD-ROM!
