The C5-CE has the same specifications as the C5 with the added cutaway and custom Cordoba acoustic/electric transducer and electronic tuner. It also features a slightly narrower neck at the nut of 50mm as compared to 52mm for the C5 for greater ease of playing. The cutaway allows for easy access to the higher frets. Perfect for gigging, clubs and other amplified uses.
The Cordoba Iberia series features solid cedar tops and mahogany back & sides for a rich tone. With comfortable necks and low action, these guitars are fun and easy to play. At their entry-level price point, they are even easier on the wallet. The Cordoba Precision 3 band pickup system produces a rich and natural sound when amplified, and also includes an on board tuner for quick and easy tuning. Whether plugged in or played acoustically, the solid red cedar top and 5 fan bracing system give the guitar an full and robust tone, with great sustain and clarity between the bass and treble strings. The back and sides are made from African mahogany and the fingerboard is rosewood. Other handmade refinements include a hand inlaid wood rosette, rosewood binding, bridge, headstock veneer, and heel cap. Case not included.
