The Desolation DX-1FR sports Charvel’s classic Soloist body style that is built for speed and for comfort. The set-through maple/mahogany neck boasts a scalloped heel for easier access to the upper register and has been shaped in to an extra thin profile for high velocity soloing. An abalone bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and abalone ‘Shark Tooth’ inlays will facilitate effortless string bending.
The Charvel DX-1FR is equipped with dual EMG active humbucking pickups with three-way toggle switching. The control panel is stripped down to the absolute bare essentials with a single master volume and a 3-way pickup selector switch. Rounding out the hardware is a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo that will maximize tuning stability and withstand even the most aggressive soloing. The DX-1FR comes in solid and trans finishes (flame maple veneer on trans finishes) with matching headstocks. Case not included.
