The set-through maple/mahogany neck boasts a scalloped heel for easier access to the upper register and has been shaped in to an extra thin profile for high velocity soloing. A bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets will facilitate effortless string bending and take you far beyond the tonal possibilities of traditional single-cutaway guitars. The Charvel DS-1FR is equipped with dual Seymour Duncan® Blackout™ active humbucking pickups with three-way toggle switching. The simplified controls feature individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and a 3-way pickup selector switch.
