As always, I played several while in the store. Upon arriving home ,quickly installed new strings, and eventually Tusq pins and saddle. Myself and my friend,(accomplished player of Taylor and Lowden) were both very suprised by the sweet sound of this little guitar.

I purchased one of these so that I could take a guitar on business trips out of town. The airlines have either checked it in at the gate for safe handling or allowed me to stow it away on the plane. Great to travel with, stays in tune, and has a nice, solid, deep tone. Highly recommended!

Since this purchase I picked up a standard size Carlo Robelli 6-string for a knock around, drop tuning guitar. Quality and tone for this line is excellent for the price.

"I played them all. Dean JT/JTJ, Martin Baby, Taylor Baby, Ibanez, Yamaha FX, ..... bought this unplayed and this is up there with the best. Well built little guitar that I bought for my son and Im confident he'll keep for years. With a reinforced, padded gig-bag, so that'll be easy to do (Thanks for using your brains and supplying the bag... cases are hard to find in this size). It's well built, looks great, sounds excellent considering the size. Action is a bit high, but IT HAS A TRUSS ROD which most of the pricey ones dont, and action can be fixed. I am definately impressed. Adjusted the action, threw on some Elixersand I want to steal my son's guitar (his first guitar). It's so smooth that he spent 4 hours playing it the first day, (never played before), he learned half a dozen chords and now plays a Beatles number, a Violent Femmes number (great bass response for such a little axe) and wants to get into Blues and Jazz...inspirational guitar guys. Only 2 DUMB things (1) Why the hell would you want to discontinue this axe??[...] Can't knock the axe though. "
