Buffet BC405220 Student Grenadilla Oboe
This beautiful oboe from the master craftsmen at Buffet Crampon is made from African blackwood (grenadilla) with a resin-lined bore that makes the instrument more crack-resistant. Generally, wooden construction is reserved for higher end oboes, but this model is designed specifically with serious beginning and amateur players in mind. Along with a full conservatory system and silver plated keys, this model also features three semi-automatic octave keys, a left hand F-lever, double g# and Eb, and trills for the C#, double D, and low B/C# keys. For better and more comfortable ergonomics, the spatulas have also been redesigned to feel good for all players, regardless of their hand size.
