"First let me start off by saying that I own about 30 various types of guitars from a D'Aquisto Centura to a rare Bonnie Pink Paul Reed Smith. I need to see clean lines, nice flames or quilts and good build quality before I would consider purchasing a guitar. I walked in[...] two days ago and I saw this guitar (Brownsville). Being that it was on the cheap guitar rack, I didn't pay much attention to it. But on my way out of the store, it caught my eye and I picked it up to see how it played. The first thing that caught my eye was how the neck matched the color of the body and headstock. You would normally see that only on guitars costing $2000 - $4000. Long story short, I played it and I was very impressed. I asked the salesman (Steve) if he had another one, but he didn't so I just bought the floor model for $50.00 less (Steve gave me a deal). Whether you are a novice or a pro, I would recommend this to anyone, especially to those who are new at the guitar buying experience. Don't be a part of that ""ME TOO"" crowd buying the PRS Santana, or cheapo Ibanez. Buy this guitar and be an individual. PS. I've changed the pickup ring to chrome (from ALLPARTS) It gives it real nice look."

"You can't get more for your money!! Superb workmanship and quality control as everything about this axe is top notch. It's shaped like a Brian Moore as it has a naturally bound convex body shape. It even has the notched -out tilited input jack in the back. The fretboard is straight and true and features the orange flame on the board itself (I've never seen this before) which is also bound and has abalone dot inlays!!! The trem is very similar to the new Ibanez standard trem but the Brownsville has rollers on the saddles!! Stock pickups are fine and the tone overall is resonant and ballsy with solid electronics. Beautiful beveled headstock that is also flamed and houses good tuners and a perfectly cut nut. Whew!! I don't know how they did it for the price??? Check out how much all of this would cost you in a Carvin catalogue!!!! The only thing about this guitar which I don't like is the fret height. They are nice and wide but definitely on the medium-low side in height (apx. .038"" high) Despite this they are finished nicely and are a joy to play on. Thanks Brownsville [...]. " Wow... Where do I start. Well I bought my USA 101 [...] in Clearwater fl about 2month's ago,and a month before that,Ibought a top of the line Ibanez neck thru monster.I can't believe I play my Brownsville more.It's Awsome.the non locking tremolo is so fine and it stay's in tune great as long as I don't go to crazy.The only thing I did to this beast was to put in Seymore Duncan pickup's, it didn't need it but i wanted to really let it shine.It look's and play's like it cost a fortune but it was a great buy!$[...]. I play out in club's here in the Tampa Bay area and everyone that see's it is blown away,me included!It's one of the best guitar's I've ever had,and I've had several. Jackson's,Ibanez,Gibson's,ESP's etc... So...the bottom line is I'm so happy with my USA 101,and I wish I had 10 more of them. Hey Brownsville let's talk endorsment!!! And for the record...the stock pickup's were great but I wanted to hot rod it even more so I put in the Seymore Duncan jb in the bridge,and the 59 in the neck.
