Sporting a 3.25 -inch body depth and a 26.25" length, the Riptide pumps out a lot of sound, and the spruce top delivers a warm tone. Boulder Creek has outfitted these ukuleles with their exclusive "Dual Port System"; a unique design which employs a pair of soundholes. The side hole projects the sound into your ear so you can really hear what you're playing. The guitar-inspired cutaway body shape makes it easier to access the upper register notes. The body is also adorned with beautiful abalone binding along the edges as well as the rosettes around the two soundholes.
The Boulder Creek ECUT-2V features their UK-300T pickup-preamp system which will deliver your sound when it’s time to hit the stage. The battery-powered system includes an onboard tuner, as well as volume, bass, and treble controls. The tuning gears look great and work perfectly.
