Bias VX Pocket
Each Powerbook Edition bundle contains the VXpocket from Digigram, makers of the first Type II PC Card designed for professional audio applications on a lap top computer. The VXpocket has 24-bit converters, a balanced analog stereo input at microphone or line level; and balanced analog stereo output. SPDIF input and output allow direct digital transfer. A 16 bit PC Card interface optimizes card-to-disk transfers and Direct Memory Access lightens the load on the PC's processor. The VXpocket is designed to work with the wide choice of applications using Microsoft's WAVE protocol and the MacOS Sound Manager and ASIO standards. When used with editing software and equipped with a communications board (ISDN or modem), the VXpocket transforms a laptop into a complete mobile audio workstation. Includes Peak Le 2.0, Digigram VXpocket PCMCIA card, Waves 'EasyWaves' (Compressor, EQ, Reverb plug- ins), SFX Machine Lite, and Adaptec Toast.
