first off i am a heavy metal drummer and these pedals do not dissapoint when it comes to precision and accuracy the only thing i have a problem with is the repair and upkeep if you practice steady nuts and the variable adjuster frequently comes loose or moves more than a chain driven pedal> but overall i am pleased with these pedals

I own this pedal and I have to say it's awesome. Nothing is made as sturdy as this. You won't be a god in the first five minutes but give yourself about a week to become familiar with the pedal and you'll be rippin like a lumberjack.

Some people say it lacks power but I took the chance and it has power, speed and lots of adjustments. You can easily adjust the beater angle next to the springs, a variable drive lever lets you adjust the footboard action and you can easily adjust the nice sounding sonic hammers! If you don't like the sound or feel, the instructions are user friendly and clear so you can get a powerful whack or super speed(even that had power for me) an inch from the head. I even like these better than my DW 9002's, which says a lot! Both are great pedals but these are even more extreme!

"STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX I WAS DOING 16TH NOTE GALLOP ROLLS WITHOUT BREAKING A SWEAT AND WITHIN 2 HOURS I NOTICED I WAS DOING CLEAN DOUBLES WITH EACH FOOT. THESE PEDALS ARE SO SMOOTH YOU CAN BARELY TELL THEIR UNDER YOUR FEET,EVEN THE SLAVE PEDAL HAS NO DRAG. AWESOME FOR NATURAL HEEL/TOE PLAYERS. YOULL HAVE TO MESS WITH THE BEATERS TO GET TO YOUR LIKING. TOO FAR BACK AND THE PEDAL BECOMES REAL SLUGISH, BUT I FOUND THE RIGHT SPOT FOR MINE SO ITS JUST A MATTER OF PERSONAL TASTE. ABSOLUTELY FLAWESS, NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!!!!"
