SampleCell II takes the speed, flexibility, and processing power of your computer and transforms it into a professional, RAM-based sample playback system. SampleCell II PCI is the latest version of the famous SampleCell II sample playback system, adding support for PCI-based Macintosh and Windows systems and an updated SampleCell II Editor. SampleCell II provides sample playback as part of a totally integrated digital audio environment when coupled with a TDM module and a Pro Tools III system. Designed for professional music, sound design, and post production applications, SampleCell II provides 16 bit sample playback with up to 20 bit dynamic resolution when combined with an optional SampleCell II TDM Module and Pro Tools III system. A single SampleCell II card provides 32 dynamically allocated voices, up to 32 megabytes of RAM, and eight polyphonic outputs with your choice of card: PCI, Nubus, or ISA. If you decide to expand your SampleCell system to include more cards, you gain the added capabilities without taking up valuable studio real estate: everything fits inside the computer's expansion slots.
