Avid Bomb Factory Fairchild Tube Limiter Emulation Plug In Bundle (Pro Tools)
Re-introducing the undisputed champions in price, weight and performance: the Fairchild 660 and Fairchild 670.
Designed in the early 1950s, the Fairchild 660 and 670 are variable-mu limiters. Variable-mu designs use an unusual form of vacuum tube that is capable of changing its gain dynamically. The result? In addition to featuring a tube output stage like the Bomb Factory BF-2A, the Fairchild actually achieves gain reduction through the use of tubes!
Of course, Bomb Factory's no-compromise replicas capture every detail of these legendary pieces of studio gear.
Best of all, these versions are affordable enough that real musicians can actually own them!
IMPORTANT: Bomb Factory Fairchild Tube Limiter Authorization requires an iLok USB smart key and the ability to access ilok.com from a computer. If you do not already own an iLok USB smart key, please see the “Things You Need” area on the right side of this page.
Bomb Factory iLok Authorizations:
The Avid Bomb Factory 4.0 and higher plug-ins have new iLok authorizations that are different from legacy Bomb Factory products.
