"This mando is a little beauty, but it didn't come like that right out of the box. It looks and feels great. Its sound is definately mando, but unique. Unplugged volume is decent, and plugged in is sweet. Out-of-the-box intonation was bad. It took a little tweaking to get it to play well. Removing the shims from under the bridge and carefully filing the bridge peaks to lower the action did wonders to bring intonation in to acceptable range. Features and quality get a 4. It is, afterall, an entry level version of the Ovation. If you want 5's get the O. For it's class it's a 5 - a great value for what you get. One thing to remember when it's time for new strings - this mando requires ball-end strings. Plan ahead. Music stores generally stock only loop end string sets."
